Hi, I’m the person behind BAL-IT 👋 I provide friendly, local IT support with a simple goal: to help you use your technology safely, confidently, and without frustration. I know how important phones, laptops, and home tech are in everyday life, and I’m here to make things work the way they should — without the stress.
I have over 10 years of professional experience working with Microsoft and cloud technologies, along with more than 20 years of hands-on personal IT knowledge covering Windows, Apple Devices, Smart phones and tablets and Linux devices. I’m a Microsoft Certified professional and SC Cleared, and I’ve worked on everything from home computers to complex business systems. What that means for you is experienced, professional support you can trust — brought into a home and personal setting.
I specialise in solving problems clearly and calmly, without confusing jargon. Whether your device is running slowly, something isn’t working, or you just need advice, I’ll explain what’s going on in plain English and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. I’m always respectful of your home, your time, and your privacy.
Because I’m local and work independently, you’ll always deal directly with me — the person doing the work. No call centres, no ticket numbers, just straightforward, reliable support when you need it. Whether it’s a one-off issue or ongoing help, I’m here to make technology easier for you.
I am also able to offer my services outside of a standard 9-5 work day. Whether you need help during this time or in the evening or weekends we can work with you to arrange a time that works. The aim is to respond to all enquiries in a timely manner so you aren't waiting for help when you need it most.

Pricing
Our Pricing Structure for home users
We offer a free 15 minute remote consultation where we discuss your needs and whether we are likely to be able to help. Our standard pricing is £45/hour for remote and in person calls after that. For in person visits, if you are more than 30 minutes from our facility in Llantwit Major we will charge an initial £15, this will not be included in the first hour of support.
